Babeland is a feminist sex toy retailer started over 20 years ago in Seattle, WA, by two queer best friends, me (Rachel) and Claire. We’ve been allies with BUST for all these years, and because it’s Pride, which is a pretty sexy month, they invited us to do a blog post. Thanks BUST!

Like Lollapalooza, Woodstock, and all good organized events, Pride Month has gotten so corporate. The line-up for PrideFest has such cringe-worthy events like PETCO's PetPride, so leave it to the dykes to keep the spice in all things gay with the 18th annual Dyke March this Saturday, June 26th.
Dyke March officially started in 1993 by the Lesbian Avengers as a protest march against the largely white and male focus of Pride Month and Pride events. The march organizers do not seek out permits for the march and maintain it as a political event. Read More
