Having more female politicians is not simply a numbers game, as we have learned from Margaret Thatcher and Sarah Palin. Simply being a woman is not the only factor in being a female positive politician. In an email The First Lady sent to supporters, she says her husband understands women’s issues “because he lived them.”
“Barack knows what it means when a family struggles,” she writes. “He knows what it means when someone doesn't have a chance to fulfill their potential. Read More
