I love this. The other day, Shea Strauss, a writer for Playboy, shared a flowchart she created on the magazine’s website—a handy guide to find out whether or not you should catcall a woman.
Turns out, the only time catcalling is okay is if A) she is literally a cat or B) you know her and have “both consensually agreed to shout sexually suggestive comments to each other in public.” AMEN.

The so-called feminist magazine, Playboy, recently published an article written by a dude who argued that Neko Case is, “too smart—and frankly too old—to be one of those shiny young pop starlets who sing about love with superficial life-or-death stakes."
Earth to everyone; she is not a commercial pop star. So, why compare her to the likes of Katy Perry or Beyoncé?

I visited Giverny a few years ago, and "punk rock" was not the first, or second, or fiftieth thing that came to my mind while I was there. Clearly I'm just not inspired enough. When E.V. Day, feminist installation artist, sculptor, and photographer, was awarded the Munn Artists Residency by the Versailles Foundation to live on Monet's estate in Giverny in 2010, she proceeded to invite performance artist Kembra Pfahler there to collaborate on a ... Peggy Wilkins has a secret stash: an apartment-sized collection of Playboy magazines. Her love affair started at age 13, when she had to have an issue with teen detective Nancy Drew—wearing a trench coat and nothing else—on the cover. After her mother told her she wouldn't purchase the magazine, Peggy did what any real fan would do—she stole it.Since that day, Peggy has amassed every single issue of Playboy, including a copy of the ...
