It’s a major victory for same-sex marriage supporters, believers in equality, and pretty much everyone in the human race. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has officially announced its endorsement for same-sex marriage, same-sex couples, and full adoption and foster care rights for all parents regardless of sexual orientation.  Comprised of “60,000 primary care pediatricians, pediatric medical subspecialists and pediatric surgical specialists dedicated to health, safety and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults,” the AAP focuses its endorsement on the importance of stability and security for children in households.
