“OK,” says BUST photographer Ramona Rosales to actor/comedian Kumail Nanjiani halfway through their shoot at a bar near his home in L.A. “Now it’s time to bring the sexy.” Raising his extremely expressive eyebrows, the 37-year-old replies, “I thought I was bringing the sexy. That was my 11. Read More

I opened Hulu out of boredom (I obviously live a very productive life) and was unexpectedly greeted by a screen of some of my favorite lady comedy actresses and the premise that they would all be spoofing one of my favorite guilty pleasures: the Real Housewives. Holy moly! The comedy series, The Hot Wives of Orlando, was dropped on Hulu Orange is The New Black style, meaning Hulu released all six episodes and a “reunion special” at once. Read More

If Tina Fey’s new NBC show, and Kristen Schaal’s upcoming ABC series weren’t enough exciting lady-centric television news for you, fear not. Deadline has just reported that Saturday Night Live alumna Maya Rudolph is developing a variety show pilot with NBC!
Rudolph’s last television endeavor, NBC’s Up All Night, on which she co-starred with Christina Applegate and Will Arnett, was cancelled in February. Rudolph then indicated that instead of another sitcom, she was interested in pursuing a variety show. Read More

In the wake of recent uproar over the ridiculousness of sexy women’s Halloween costumes, hilariously awesome comedian Kristen Schaal made an appearance as The Daily Show's Senior Women's Issues Correspondent to discuss the new trend, but more importantly, to unveil her own line of super sexy Halloween costumes—one for men and one for women.
While the costume for guys is certainly a winner, (“Sexy Hollywood Producer Who Hires Women Over 40 For Meaningful, Age Appropriate Roles”) the one for the ladies is the true treasure: “The Sexy Vagina. Read More

Who you gonna call? Filibuster! Or Kristen Schaal, because this woman is a filibustering machine.
Last night's Daily Show had Kristen satirically riffing the most prominent women in Texas this week - Wendy Davis and Jodie Laubenberg. Schaal didn’t equate Laubenberg to Davis, but proclaimed that Laubenberg was hands down more impressive! Say what?
Equipped with her hot pink Mizuno Wave Riders, a portable bathroom, and a chest scarification of #istandwithwendy, Schaal is ready to keep filibusterin' all night for women's rights. Read More

Oh man, I know this is old, but I needed to post this genius sketch by Kristen Schaal and John Stewart from last week.
Kristen stops by the Daily Show to school Stewart on the "rainbow of rape's" and explains how the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act should cut funding for abortions unless they are a result of "forcible" rape.
While I laughed out loud, it is sad to know that many people in this country would agree with her outrageous claims of "rapish" rape not being rapey enough. Sigh.

Kristen Schaal has to be one of the cutest, funniest women in comedy today and if you haven't seen her interview on the Letterman Show, watch it now. Not only was she great as the creepy super fan Mel in "Flight of the Conchords," but she has also had some parts in a couple other movies, totaling to around 10 minutes as she says, including her upcoming role in "Dinner for Schmucks." Her adorable voice, Pee-Wee Herman-like entrance and earnest attitude are sure to make you crack up, so beware if you’re watching this at work. Read More
