The Future Feminism Collective is planning to unveil their "13 Tenets of Future Feminism" at The Hole Art Gallery as part of a series of various lectures, conferences and performances by several talented artists. BUST and Superchief co-curated group art show, LADIES REPRESENT!, and it was a super successful showcase of work by 20 AMAZING lady artists, including legendary graffiti artist CLAW Money, who painted a mural outside the gallery!

Calling all NYC BUSTies! The BUST and Superchief co-curated group show Ladies Represent! will host its opening party tomorrow night, August 15th, from 6-9 pm at Superchief Gallery at Culturefix (9 Clinton st. between Stanton and Houston).

It's been many moons in the making, but we're excited to announce the opening of LADIES REPRESENT!, an all-female, all-awesome art show opening next week at Superchief Gallery in New York's Lower East Side.
In collaboration with digital art and cultural collective Superchief, we've curated an amazing lineup of female artists from all over the U.S. Works range from the intricate wheat pastes of street artist Swoon to E.V. I visited Giverny a few years ago, and "punk rock" was not the first, or second, or fiftieth thing that came to my mind while I was there. Clearly I'm just not inspired enough. When E.V. Day, feminist installation artist, sculptor, and photographer, was awarded the Munn Artists Residency by the Versailles Foundation to live on Monet's estate in Giverny in 2010, she proceeded to invite performance artist Kembra Pfahler there to collaborate on a photographic project--one that would add some edge to the classic lily pads and bridges we're all so familiar with.
