Ah, I wish summer wasn’t over because Tangerine’s "Feel This Way" would’ve been my summer jam! It’s soft, relaxed, and makes me feel that every moment should be cherished. It’s a song that you could play at a party, or even put on a “chill-out/study” playlist (as a former college student, this was the biggest challenge of my life).
With dream-like shots of friends sitting in a park drinking sangria, to a crowd dancing to Tangerine playing, this song and video will make you feel at ease. Read More

Portland's own Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside made their way to the BUST offices in NYC to soothe our aching earbuds with a stripped-down version of their rockabilly love song, "Shivers." Only two of the usual quartet made it out for this intimate performance, with Ford on acoustic guitar and lead guitarist Jeff Munger on electric guitar. Munger's classic country riffs and solo matched Sallie's soulful energy with ease. As one of the few audience members, I've got to admit that Ford's pure, raw voice gave me shivers. Read More

After three years of honing their live sound, Stereo Telescope is set to release a full-length album, On and Running, on January 29th. This synthpop duo is composed of Nikki Dessingue and Kurt Schneider, veterans of various indie and electronic bands from the Boston scene. Each member sings and performs a host of instrumental tasks, which is quite impressive considering the complexity of their music.
With a blend of post-rock ambience and meticulous electronic instrumentation, Stereo Telescope’s sound is evocative of the Postal Service or, more recently, M83. Read More
