Crate and Barrel has generously donated $100 on behalf of BUST to Rebuilding Together and their Disaster Relief Program for Hurricane Sandy.
Rebuilding Together is a non-profit organization that helps low-income home owners with repairs and renovations across the United States. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, this organization is using their Disaster Relief Program to help the families in need that were affected by the storm to reconstruct damaged and destroyed homes.
Almost two months later, the impact of Hurricane Sandy can still be seen around New York City and the surrounding areas. Read More

Four NYC indie rock darlings are coming together for Hurricane Sandy relief! A benefit concert on December 14th at Terminal 5 will donate all proceeds to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City.
Sleigh Bells, a duo from Brooklyn, will be blowing out our eardrums with their heavy brand of noise pop. They’ve now got two albums out and are working on a third with a possible release date in 2013.

Country music fans out there, here’s an event that benefits a great cause and promises to be memorable: the Jalopy Theatre and friends have organized a benefit for Brooklyn’s Red Hook community, which was severely damaged by hurricane Sandy. This show will benefit Restore Red Hook, which aims to raise funds to help the small businesses of Red Hook, Brooklyn reopen their doors as soon as possible after the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.
