The Grammys red carpet is always a welcome departure from the play-it-safe motto of almost every other show during awards season. How many women would actually prefer wearing a sleek black floor-length gown? Yawn. With all the focus on the performances, the Grammys invite so much more risk-taking. It feels right…it feels right…Oh!
This morning I awoke to see that NPR had posted the full stream of Haim’s new album, “Days Are Gone.” The girl group has deservedly been getting a lot of press lately. "Days Are Gone" sounds like a glorious blend of my favorite girl groups. The album includes singles that have been securing them spots at Glastonbury, but other tracks also offer something different.
