The object of this computer game, designed by the Urban Ministries of Durham and an advertising firm called McKinney, is to basically keep yourself and your kids alive. Games for Change has teamed up with Pulitzer prize-winning authors Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn to create a new Facebook game called Half the Sky, which will help raise awareness about sex slave trafficking around the world. If this isn’t enough of a reason to stop playing Farmville, I don’t know what is.
