When comedian Liza Dye of NYC's Upright Citizens Brigade was struck by a B train on February 13, the New York Post said she was nothing more than a "straphanger" who didn't have her wits about her.
In fact, the opposite is true. The very witty Liza Dye was not even looking at her phone that morning. Actually, she's so witty that she even joked with the passengers whose train she inadvertently delayed: "I'm sorry I made you late for work!" In honor of International Women's Day (IWD) coming up this Saturday March 8th, Catapult - a crowd-funding website championing the empowerment of women and girls - created a series of photos as a part of a visual campaign depicting the growing global epidemic of sex slavery, child slavery, and child brides.
