Acacia Fraternity is temporarily suspended from the Ohio University campus, pending an investigation of a video that was released on the evening of Oct. 28, according to The Huffington Post. The video taken by an OU journalism student, Olivia Hitchcock, shows a group of men serenading the women of Alpha Delta Pi from the porch of the sorority’s house. The sweet tune of the iconic “Hey Jude” by the Beatles is heard in the seven-second clip, but there’s one problem—the lyrics are perversely changed to “Send Nudes.” Gross. Read More
The Fraternity and Sorority Political Action Committee, aka the FratPAC, plans to lobby Congress this April for changes that will make college sexual assault cases even more difficult to report: The group wants the criminal justice system to resolve cases before universities look into them. Why? Because they seriously believe that students accused of sexual assault are treated unfairly. As of right now, the U.S. Department of Education requires colleges to investigate complaints and deal with students who are found responsible of sexual assault. Read More
Yet another frat has failed to surprise us with their disgusting behavior, this time unleashing their brazen stupidity in the not-so-private world of the Internet. Penn State's Kappa Delta Rho's "2.0" Facebook page—which shared members' pictures of nude, unconscious women, drugs, and hazing with its 144 members—has been under police investigation since mid-January. The frat's first site (so cleverly named “Covert Business Transactions") featured similar images and was discovered and dismantled last year. Read More

Frats: Keg stands, Tikki torches, and brothers for life. Two weeks ago, an email surfaced from Georgia Techs Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, describing how to “Lure Rapebait”. The email goes into intense detail about how to hook up with women at parties.  The email explicitly tells the other fraternity brothers exactly what any girl wants: "A GOOD DICK GRIND". “Here is how to dance: Grab them on the hips with your 2 hands and then let them grind against your dick. Last week, the young men pledging to Delta Kappa Epsilon (DKE) fraternity at Yale were blind-folded in the middle of the night and sent to march in front of the dorms on Old Campus, where most of the first year women are housed, and chant such things as, "No means yes! Yes means anal!" and "My name is Jack, I'm a necrophiliac, I f-ck dead women and fill them with my semen." Their actions were met with righteous outrage, with a statement issued by the Yale Women's Center immediately, "This action by DKE has made public that they see rape as a joke or, worse, something they support.
