Last week, Sean Hannity went on his show on Fox News to discuss the meeting between New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and rapper/mogul/husband to Beyonce, Jay Z. When the hosts of the web show "PolitiChicks" made a guest appearance on "Fox & Friends" this past Tuesday, they voiced opinions that probably would have been offensive if they hadn't been so deeply confusing.     Alas, friends – a study published today by the Women's Media Center confirms an upsetting (if not so surprising) truth: male journalists and news anchors still make up a hefty majority the big old American media engine. According to the report, “at ten of the nation's most widely circulated newspapers, men garnered 63 percent of bylines, compared to 37 percent for women.” Ouch. The study did take note of a few exceptions to the testoste-curve: PBS' “NewsHour” and ABC's “World News” have enlisted women as primary anchors. Read More
I think it's safe to say that Kristen Bell is awesome. She's one of those celebrities I never mind hearing about, because she has opinions and isn't afraid to share them. Whether it's about her LOVE of sloths, her war against the "pedorazzi" with her husband, Parenthood star Dax Shepherd,  the release of the long-awaited Veronica Mars movie (!!!), or, in this case, one of her tweets to the Republican National Committee.  Kristen Bell tweeted this a few days ago, and it caught the attention of Fox News (of course).
