Jemaine Clement is wearing a vintage red, white, and blue crop top when I meet him at the Claw Money shop in N.Y.C. where our photo shoot is taking place. It's exactly the kind of silly outfit that could easily have been worn by his character in Flight of the Conchords, the hilarious HBO comedy series that Clement, along with his writing and music partner Bret McKenzie, wrote and performed in from 2007 to 2009. Things have been pretty bleak around here since Flight of the Conchords went into self-imposed exile. The duo was featured as our coverdudes in the April/May 2008 Men We Love issue, and we’re still madly in love with them. Read More

Nothing is better than a band with a ukulele, but this group has a man we love, Bret McKenzie from Flight of the Conchords, and BUST writer Gemma Gracewood. Read More
Sigh. On their official website, Flight of the Conchord's beloved Brett Mckenzie today released the following statement: "We are today announcing that we won’t be returning for a 3rd season. We’re very proud of the two seasons we made and we like the way the show ended. We’d like to thank everyone who helped make the show and also everyone who watched it. While the characters Bret and Jemaine will no longer be around, the real Bret and Jemaine will continue to exist. Read More
