One of our favorite BUST-y ladies, New York graffiti artist-turned-fashion designer Claw Money is teaming up with Vans for a sweet mini-collection of some sneaks, a tank and some socks. The main theme, as you can see to the left, is a pattern of her notorious claw symbol and some lovely leopard print fading from aqua into coral. Prices range from $8 for the socks to $70 for the hi-top sneakers with the allover print. According to Claw herself, the instructions for ... Read More
It never fails to amaze me how every pair of shoes I own manage to hurt my feet, each leaving their own unique wound by the end of the day.   Yet, it turns out that bad footwear choices and shoddy shoemaking may not be entirely to blame.   Research shows that changes in estrogen levels change the height and flexibility ... Unfortunately there are already some ... Read More
Here at BUST, we are well aware that there is no feminist dress code. But others aren't so savvy on the idea that following fashion doesn't mean you are disloyal to feminist ideals. Just yesterday a headline from the UK's Independent read 'You can be beautiful and still be a feminist.' As if that is a profound statement! We figured that one out long ago. The article was spurred after Cambridge undergrads stripped down to their skivvies for a student magazine, ... Read More

It's no secret that Project Runway hasn't been good for a while -- the designers are boring, there's zero drama since they kicked off Johnny Meth Addict, and snarky fashion cops Nina and Michael are usually MIA. But perhaps most importantly, the outfits themselves are a big yawn -- have you seen any winning designs recently that you couldn't go buy at your local Banana Republic? So if you're going through kickass fashion withdrawal like myself, check out this ... Read More
