If you’re in the know with the going-ons of the New York City nightlife then you’re probably familiar with DJ Venus X. Maybe you heard her DJ at Fashion Week last fall or dance your ass off at her GHE20G0TH1K parties. I personally saw the light when BUST Crafty lady Callie passed along one of DJ Venus X’s mixes.
The 25-year-old Dominican-Ecuadorian DJ from Manhattan, born Jazmin Venus Soto, first gained attention after hosting GHE20GOTH1K with best friend Shayne Oliver, who designs Hood by Air. Read More
I've thrown tons of Fashion Week street style your way, but I thought I'd come out from behind the lens and show you some of the looks I put together from that week. I'm all about fun when it comes to fashion. From pillbox hats to kitty-cat shoes, I'm not afraid to look a little kooky now and then. I also took comfort into consideration, and wore flats amid a sea of high heels. With some pep in my step and bright tights to spare, I'd say many of my looks are downright ready for spring. Welcome to Part Two of of my collection of looks from this season's New York Fashion Week. Fantastic street style seemed to be everywhere I turned, and I made sure to capture as much as I could. One of my favorite looks of the week (or ever) has to be this outfit on Vogue Japan's Anna Dello Russo, who never fails to bring the fashion crazy. I love it! With a bright fuschia coat and out-of-this world hat, she stood out in a sea of fashionable, yet safe, ensembles. Read More
It’s pretty much impossible for Rachel Antonoff to create anything less than ridiculously adorable clothing and accessories, so of course, her newest fall 2012 collection is nothing short of charming and wearable. From shiny jewels and Peter Pan collar dresses to Bye Bye Birdie sweatshirts and floral creeper shoes, there is a youthfulness to a lot of the pieces that feels both elegant and modern, but playful at the same time. You can't help but fall in love with details such as whimsical heart-shaped pockets and dainty bows on cream-colored mary janes. Read More
The above photo includes: Veronika of Tick Tock Vintage, Liz of Olive, My Love, me (Twee Valley High), Emma Cooper, Emily of It Girl, Rag Doll, Erin of Calivintage, and Kater of All This Happiness.
One of my favorite Fashion Week events had to be Lulu's Style Studio, where bloggers from all over gathered to mingle, shop, and eat cupcakes in style. It was an ultra-stylish party, and I was able to snap shots of some of my favorite looks as everyone walked around. Read More

VICE Magazine calls itself "The Definitive Guide to Enlightening Information." It didn’t surprise me, then, to hear that instead of covering the traditional corners of the fashion world (think Paris or London) VICE was devoting its Fashion Week coverage to the unseen fashion shows that normally don’t pop up on our global radar. The web series Fashion Week Internationale takes a look at the unconventional approaches to fashion in places like Cambodia, Pakistan, and, most recently, Nigeria. Read More
In a reality show meets crazy fashion success story, Onch of Paris Hilton's My New BFF 2008-2009 has become Nicki Minaj's sort of go-to-guy for crazy food-related jewelry, which includes this hot pink fried chicken wing necklace from a recent appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. I'm kind of obsessed with how ridiculous this looks. The necklace is so bad, that its gone past bad and into awesome, which probably describes most of Nick Minaj's wardrobe. Read More
I honestly haven't kept up with every collection in NYC, London, or Milan but I've looked up and come across a few over the past few weeks. One Spring/Summer 2012 collection at London's Fashion Week that instantly caught my eye and definitely made me smile was the collection by Meadham Kirchhoff . Designers Ed Meadham and Ben Kirchhoff created a fun, whimsical collection titled "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing," and from smiley-face/ teddy bear jumpers to fluffy tutus and runway balloons, I'm totally in love with this sugary collection. As London Fashion Week rages on, I look to blogs such as KrisAtomic and Facehunter for great looks from overseas. Sadly, this post is the last of my Fashion Week photos. It was a fabulous week filled with style at every glance and I look forward to the street style of seasons to come! For now, enjoy my last bit of NYC Fashion Week. Above you've got Garance Dore and Scott Schuman of The Satorialist congregating outside Lincoln Center, taking photos here and there. Read More
This street style edition is chalk full of bloggers such as Bryanboy, Lifestyle Hunters, and one of my personal favorites, cinemagraph lady extraordinaire, Jamie Beck of From Me To You. The comings and goings of all the shows were just as exciting as the shows themselves and usually a chaotic crowd of photographers lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the hottest looks of the moment.
This was at the fabulous Norma Kamali 3D shopping experience hence the somehow stylish 3D glasses. Read More
