There is some good and surprising news for gay marriage! A legal brief arguing that gays have a constitutional right to marry, signed by dozens of Republicans, is being submitted to the Supreme Court this week.
Yes, you read that right. As of Monday, over 75 Republicans, many well-known and influential, have signed their name to a document that opposes Proposition 8 and, supports same-sex marriage. The Family Research Council is at it again with their anti-LGBT focus. In their “get America back” campaign, three of the four fundraising points are anti-LGBT. The post-election pitch claiming, “truth will win out” (*sigh*), aims to
-Prevent radical homosexual activists from further harming the U.S. military.
-Compel the Department of Justice to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act.
-Challenge the provisions of ObamaCare which undermine families.
