Fall is in the air, my friends! That is to say...I am officially wearing a sweater because it is actually chilly out and not because I only own cardigans! There is something about this seasonal change that always gives me a little creative boost. The laziness and slowness of summer officially give way to an inner desire to become Martha Stewart. I’ve seen some bad crafty pieces in my time (Regretsy anyone?), but this is definitely not one of them. This Portland-based artist deserves a medal for the meticulous work she puts into her gorgeous crochet pieces. She does amazing, detailed face paintings and city drawings as well, but it’s her crochet works of faces and cityscapes that are really special.
