As a Columbia University sophomore, Emma Sulkowicz was sexually assaulted in her dorm room. Now a senior, she has carried the mattress she was raped on to classes and appointments as a part of her thesis, entitled "Mattress Performance (Carry That Weight)," after the university failed to take legal action against her attacker. On Tuesday, Sulkowicz carried the mattress to Columbia’s graduation ceremony amidst cheers and applause.

Upon hearing news of the rapist list that was publicly inscribed inside of a Columbia University bathroom stall- I decided to do a little digging and fortuitously opened a Pandora’s Box of unnerving sexual assault mishandlings by the “renowned Ivy League.”
On May 15th Columbia University custodians found a little PSA written in sharpie on a bathroom stall, sporting the headline: “Rapists On Campus,” subsequently listing 4 names of male undergraduates. Read More
