This educational video is a battle between politics and science because Republican candidate Bob Beauprez is running for governor yet again in Colorado, and is convinced that IUDs cause continual abortions in a woman's body. This very misinformed statement will be involved in the ballot for Colorado tomorrow, Nov 4.   The internet is ablaze with fury after the release of an advertisement by ProgressiveNow Colorado and Colorado Consumer Health Initiative for ObamaCare. The ad features a woman beside a man; he holds her around the hips, and she holds a packet of birth control pills. Beneath the image reads, "OMG, he's hot! Let's hope he's as easy to get as this birth control. Today in news that makes you proud to be a part of humanity: a small, yet important, win for the transgender community thanks to the bravery of Coy Mathis and her family. For those of you who don’t know who Coy is, she is a 6-year-old trans girl who started to identify as a girl at a few years old. When she entered kindergarten at Eagleside Elementary, her very awesome parents informed the school that though Coy was born biologically male, Coy identified as a girl and should be treated as such.
