Bold prints and food fashion- what’s not to love? Watch as two amazing, female artists collaborate with design and nail art in the short video, On The Nail with Fleury Rose. Rose, who has done nails for BUST Magazine several times in the past, got together with Courtney Gamble, head designer of MessQueen New York and frequent Bust Craftacular vendor, and the result looks delicious.
Watch the video here!
Before a sample sale and preview for her Spring/Summer ‘15 collection, Gamble stopped by Tomahawk Salon in Brooklyn to get her nail art on. Read More

American Apparel doesn’t exactly have a good rep in many feminist circles—its notoriously sexist advertisements (and predatory founder) have definitely made me a little weary of buying my clothes there.
The company has lowered itself to our expectations once again this week with the U.K. launch of its racy “School Days” campaign, which features young women posing provocatively (the usual) in various school settings (not quite the usual). Read More

Just a short time after we got wind that David Lynch had designed Kenzo’s eerie most recent A/W show, we find out he’s at it again. Love of my life and artist extraordinaire David Lynch is collaborating with the fashion world again, this time, in pursuit of making the ultimate women’s work out wear. Lynch and the luxury US brand Live the Process have worked together in order to debut Lynch’s six-piece collection that features corset bras, scoop bras with geometric leggings, natty pairs of shorts and T-shirts that read “Change Begins Within. Are you as sick of the endless lingerie search, foraging for a larger cup size that is not boring and/or overpriced? I wear a bra size 34F and let me tell you, finding a bra that is comfortable, supportive, and cute all for an affordable price is a true pain. The boutique stores with small lacy bras for smaller sizes just don't offer the kind of support larger breasts need and the large chains like Victoria Secret and Macy's are always throwing diamonds and bows all over everything. Also, I certainly can't afford the intricate bras from the stores specializing in larger breast sizes. Read More

While there has already been one article about J.Crew’s new 000 size published on bust.com, I believe there’s more to discuss; in short, it’s time to unzip this issue a little further and see what unfolds (okay, no more clothing puns). Read More

J. Crew is right up there with Vineyard Vines at the list of the preppiest clothing stores where the skinniest, most photo-ready-looking people shop. However, given the quality and price tag of the J. Crew brand, I never would have thought they’d introduce clothing that mothers and elementary school age children can share. However, that seems to be just what they’ve done by creating a size 000, which is basically a triple extra small. Read More

New technology to battle technological dependence? Makes sense.
When I had a Smartphone I was prone to constantly checking my various apps out of fear that I would miss something that was happening. In fact, it is so easy to be sucked into a world of notifications and constant streams of information that people tend to tune the real world out completely. This trend is the inspiration for a new clothing line called FOCUS created by Japanese conceptual fashion designer Kunihiko Morinaga. Read More

Everyone's got their two cents on this kitty bikini or that cat sweater, but you know you can only trust BUST when it comes to matters of such grave importance. Without further ado: send in the cats.
We've got cats that cover your naughty bits.

If you're anything like me, you enjoy a good quote about feminism. If you even more like me, you enjoy displaying your abrasive-t0-the-norm beliefs as loudly and as often as possible. Wicked Clothing is an online store full of nerdy, feminist goodies. I found the site when looking at this amazing self-defense cat keychain every girl/person should have:
Super awesome, right?? Well their other non-pointy stuff is great too. Read More
