More Than Me, an education and girls’ empowerment non-profit, is gaining notoriety through its guerilla-style marketing, inspiring hundreds of people to write “I am Abigail” on their foreheads and post the photos on Facebook. This really begs the question, “Who the heck is Abigail?”  Abigail was an orphan in West Point, Liberia. You may have read her letter in an article on the Huffington Post. Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, made a shocking announcement Tuesday afternoon--they're ending their longtime partnership with Planned Parenthood. SGK's Facebook page has been flooded with reactions since then. Nancy G. The destructive 7.0 earthquake that struck Haiti Tuesday evening is reportedly affecting more than 3 million people in the small island country. Although the number of people killed is currently unknown (at the time of reporting), the expected death toll is “in the thousands.”Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere: almost 9 million of its citizens are living in poverty already, so people affected by the earthquake definitely need our help during this tragic time.
