In a sea of generic Playboy and Hollywood bombshell calendars, there’s finally a calendar that honors the curvy, beautiful ladies of our lives. It’s rare these days to see women in the media that aren’t Photoshopped and airbrushed into oblivion. Thin bodies are glorified in our society, and too often every other type of body is not given the appreciation and representation they deserve. Calling all comics fans! Comic artist Peter Bagge has announced that he will be going on tour to promote his new book, "Woman Rebel: The Margaret Sanger Story.”
The comic book graphic novel is a beeeautiful hardback representation of Margaret Sanger’s political influence and journey to becoming the public figure she’s known as today.

United Bamboo’s now infamous cat calendar is back for its third year running, and for its junior effort, the clothing company is democratizing. Your cat (yes, your cat!) could be a super(cat)model and make her cat fancy debut in the 2013 calendar.
