Stop what you're doing right now! Lena Dunham has just announced her book tour for her upcoming collection of essays, out September 30th, entitled "Not That Kind of Girl." Cue celebratory dance and requisite trips to Barnes and Nobles around the country. As someone with experience camping out in bookstores for midnight releases (I'm lookin' at you Harry Potter's four through seven) I can confidently say this reading and Q&A will rank amongst the top. Tina Fey's autographed "Bossy Pants" will have to share the rad female autobiographical shelf with Ms. Dunham's debut book. Read More

Clear your plans, set your DVRs and pop some popcorn. Hillary’s on "The Daily Show" tonight. Airing at 11 pm EST, Clinton and Jon Stewart will discuss her new book, Hard Choices, and hopefully we’ll catch some hints about a 2016 Presidential run (fingers crossed!!!).

While Laurie is already on the West Coast (she had a wedding there this weekend), I am just starting my trip to our first stop: Seattle. I'm travelling cross country by train, which I've been doing pretty frequently for the past 12 years -- in fact, the very first time I ever did was for the book tour for the first BUST book, back in 1999.
Anyway, the first part of this 3-day journey is an overnite train trip from NYC to Chicago -- all of Amtrak's trains that go to cities on the West Coast (Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles) originate in that windy city. Read More
