Brazilian graphic designer Carol Rossetti didn’t set out to start a movement. She didn’t set out to create an iconic series of illustrations. Her project started out as something deeply personal. In fact, it doesn’t even really have a name yet— for now her illustrations remain in Facebook albums entitled “WOMEN in english!” and “Mujeres en español!”

Madonna is nothing if not contradictory.
She's like a virgin, but she's also a material girl; she's ancient, but she's hot like fire.
This makes her a tough pill to swallow on occasion (kinda like the MDMA she kinda told us we should all do on her MDNA tour). But the last thing that should make Madonna unlikable is her body hair.
The selfie is relatively tame body-hair-wise, and reminiscent of Patti Smith's iconic album cover (see below), although the tight black lingerie and Teddy Boy hairstyle is all Madonna. Read More

I would say I’m a feminist because I believe in choice and equality. Yes, that includes the choice of whether to shave or not to shave. And there's no doubt this situation gets a little...prickly. Certainly some of us just like it. But a question mark remains on whether we like it because it makes us feel good, or if social constructs have convinced us that having a clean, plastic-like exterior should make us feel good. LET’S TALK ABOUT PUBES!!!!! It might just be a patch of furry business between your gams, but that is some hotly debated and highly contestable terrain, ladies.
