Zohra Atash - the singer/songwriter behind the Brooklyn-band Azar Swan - has the coolest personal style we've seen in some time. With rock'n'roll, goth and hair metal influences, Zohra's style incorporates badass statement pieces like a leather harness or a hand-me-down scarf from her grandmother, always against plenty of black and gray. Zohra Atash trots into Birch Coffee dressed to the nines – which is hardly a surprise given the rising star's reputation as a “goth goddess.” Despite righteously rocking a bright lip, a fringe leather coat, and a mop of carefully fussed black hair, the diminutive singer seems...skittish.
