Like so many others, my life revolves around my dog. My dog Remy’s life, however, revolves around fetch. I am woken many mornings by a joyous bouncing of her rubber orange ball, so (naturally!) I am always on the lookout for new innovations in the field of fetch.  This is a big one, ladies, so pay attention. A very special dog hailing from Kobe, Japan has figured out a way to play fetch by himself with the aid of only a few rocks and a strong water current.  I strongly recommend snuggling up with your dog and watching this incredible video.   I don’t know where you are, but here at BUST HQ, it’s a really poopy day: it’s rainy, windy and way colder than it should be for the first day of August. But even if it's sunny and 70 with a light breeze coming off the beach, these photos of quokkas will brighten up your day x 1,000:   MUH.  The quokka, aka the world’s squee-inducing animal, is possibly the first Australian mammal glimpsed by Europeans.   Today's BUST: Cute Animals Edition brings you the inimitable Bubba and Gigi, a couple of sweet French bulldogs who share a sublime romance. I know. I’m totally trying to get adopted, too. Tell us, what’s your secret? ...What’s that? Communication and honesty?   Their snuggly friend, Burt the Pug, totally wants in on this relationship too. Read More
Here at BUST, we strive to give you the latest in feminist news, pop culture, and, of course, baby animals. Because we all know the world would be a darker place without them. Today we’ve got a whole new load of photos from my new favorite species. Meerkat siblings Fips and Luck were born on April 23 at Aachen Zoo in western Germany and were unfortunately rejected by their mother. The zoo staff has since been dedicated to the cuddly twosome as their adoptive family, and it seems that the road hasn’t always been easy. Read More
We can’t get enough of cute critters taking baths. Is that really so wrong? I mean, yes, maybe we went a little overboard with a list of our favorite bathing beauties, but hey, we make no apologies for bringing you the best in cute. So once again, let us baby talk.   What animal could we possibly have in store for you today? A bunny, of course. Now, I’ll be honest: bunnies aren’t my favorite YouTube stars out there. They’re kind of like what bananas are to filet mignon (you can thank Björk for this very weird/always useful metaphor). Read More
We couldn't resist. There are just too darn many adorbs critters out there getting all squeaky clean in the cutest way possible. I mean, if you saw this little guy refusing to leave his bath, you know that sometimes our furry friends really do have an appreciation for hygiene. Some like lathering up, some like the shower head, and some even like the blow dryer, if you can believe it! Others just chill out and float around in the water. We've got all kinds of lovable creatures from sloths to monkeys to hedgehogs. Enjoy your Tuesday! 10.  9. 8. Read More
Cat videos are awesome.  But a cat dressed as a shark?  On a Roomba? Chasing a duck?  This is maybe the cutest, strangest, and funniest thing ever.  And did I mention the dog dressed as a hammerhead shark at the end? Whoever thought to costume and stage this insanity is brilliant.  Check out the video below and prepare to have your mind blown by this hilarious cuteness. Read More

Vice has just released this new video featuring a holiday message from two of my favorite critters on the planet: Lil Bub and Andrew W.K.   Lil Bub, for the uninitiated, is a star-cat whose appearance is defined by his dwarfism, big ol’ saucer eyes, and perpetually stuck-out tongue. Andrew W.K is a singer-songwriter and the self-proclaimed “King of Partying”. Together, they are an unstoppable dream team of cheer.  The video, Lil Bub and Andrew W.K. Read More
Berkley Illustration is run by a powerhouse couple: self-taught artist Ryan hand-inks quirky formal portraits of woodland creatures and Lucy handles the sales and customer-service end of their business. They’ve been a huge hit on Etsy since 2007, and lucky us—we get to check out their unusual animal prints in person at the BUST Magazine Holiday Craftacular! Look for Berkley’s well-dressed creatures on frame-able prints, tote bags, bottle openers, and pennants. Read More
