When WORN Fashion Journal was invited to visit the BUST Magazine Craftacular during World Maker Faire, we let nothing stand in our way: not the fact that popular DIY festival was being held in New York City (and Queens at that!); not the chilly weather (some Wornettes should have brought their cardigans); not even that it was being held at the New York Hall of Science, better known as the site of the 1964 World’s Fair, as seen at the ending of ‘Men in Black’ (and we have expected to see Edgar the Alien roaming about). Here in New York, the first signs of fall manifest in our wardrobes. Temperatures have dropped out of "sweat torture" territory, and cardigans are creeping out of our closets as things cool down. The pinnacle of cool, though, has got to be the World Maker Faire; on September 29 and 30, the grounds around the New York Hall of Science in Queens will transform into the world's largest DIY festival.
You are cordially invited to join us at the third annual BUST Magazine Craftacular at World Maker Faire New York 2012. Read More
