I used to get all sorts of giddy at the thought of summer camp so, of course, I'm extra excited for the camp-esque launch party of she and reverie's spring/summer 2014 collection, appropriately titled "Camp Versailles." The lifestyle lounge collection is crafted in Brooklyn from soft knits, washed silks and adorable details like merit badges and delicate lace.
While adulthood has its perks, we generally like to have our glitter cupcakes and eat them too. Read More
One of my favorite bloggers, Izzy of YeYe Style, has recently put out a fabulous lookbook for her vintage shop, Yeye Vintage. Shot by my talented friend Mary Elam, the lookbook is pure flower power chic. Most of Izzy's items are vintage, but a few special looks were created by hand, such as the psychedelic two-piece below and the blue floral printed dress called "the Rosemary dress" She also designed the earrings, which are available in limited quantities. I'm totally loving this lookbook and am smitten with the mod prints. Read More
I'm a big fan of the everyday cat-eye and this tutorial is long over due. With help from Jason Hood, I'm excited to finally share my cat-eye process. I've put together a tutorial for an easy way to recreate this look. This is my first video tutorial so bear with me and some of my ramblings. Hope you enjoy!
For some added glamour, here are a few cat-eyed vixens who inspire me.

Recently, a few friends and I decided to create a short film. We wanted it to be colorful, fun, and sugary sweet. We filmed on a 1960's Super 8 and I made sure to include all of my favorite things such as cupcakes, picnics, polaroids, and macaroons. Read More
Confession: I have a bit of a saddle shoe obsession. In my opinion, there's nothing not awesome about these old-school lace-ups. They're super comfy, stylish, and fun in that "sock hop" kind of way. They can elevate a casual look to classic and a dressy look to casual. Add some ruffled socks and we're totally in business.
Right now, some of the saddle-shoe related cuteness I'm digging is this easy D.I.Y. via Rookiemag.com. Read More
The Hunger Games is officially a phenomenon. People of all ages and tastes are loving it and with such a twisted plot and kickass heroine, who can blame them? America is geeking out together and I'm loving every minute of it. Not only are the fans varied, but so is the film's fashion. From district to kooky capital, there is surprising inspiration to be had. Although most capital citizens are a silly, ignorant bunch, they do get to wear some of the most extravagantly colorful garments rarely seen in films these days. Read More
Audrey Grace, a boutique based in Jackson, Mississippi, and Small Girls PR have come together to bring NYC some of the cutest designs around in an amzing pop-up shop featuring designers such as Erin Fetherston, Rachel Antonoff, Vivetta, It's Okay My Dear, Orla Kiely, Lauren Moffat, and many more! The opening night included delicious cake, adorable twee-pop, wonderful vintage, and an obscene amount of peter-pan-collar dresses. I don't think I could've been more in love with an event. Read More
Many girls with straight hair tend to want curly and vice versa. In the past, I've used a curling iron on my stick-straight hair, but curls never seemed to stay, especially if I wanted bigger, fuller curls. Normally I'd just use a curling iron to flip the ends for a 60's-esque 'do, but lately, I've been really inspired by hair from the 1940's. There were fabulous curls galore!
Looking to put away my damaging curler, I turned to rag curls. I've heard a lot of nice things about rag curls from Emily of It Girl, Rag Doll and Kater of All This Happiness. Read More
I've thrown tons of Fashion Week street style your way, but I thought I'd come out from behind the lens and show you some of the looks I put together from that week. I'm all about fun when it comes to fashion. From pillbox hats to kitty-cat shoes, I'm not afraid to look a little kooky now and then. I also took comfort into consideration, and wore flats amid a sea of high heels. With some pep in my step and bright tights to spare, I'd say many of my looks are downright ready for spring. One of my favorite Fashion Week events had to be Lulu's Style Studio, where bloggers from all over gathered to mingle, shop, and eat cupcakes in style. It was an ultra-stylish party, and I was able to snap shots of some of my favorite looks as everyone walked around. Read More
