Okay, I have a confession to make: I love postcards. But who doesn't? Nothing fills my heart with honest-to-goodness sentimentality like a 4x6 piece of flimsy cardboard sent from a friend in a faraway place. I was super psyched to hear the news that a documentary has been made about my absolute all time fave 60's-70's design house, the influential and way ahead of it's time, Biba. The movie, Beyond Biba, is premiering in the UK this weekend, and I really do hope it makes it over to our shores.
Biba was founded by Barbara Hulanicki and her husband in 1964, and quickly grew from a small mail order company to become huge part of the youthquake scene in London. Read More
