  Last week, the ladies of Speed Rack — the nationwide competition for female bartenders that raises money for breast-cancer charities — were engaged in a brutal face-off. The all-female bartending competition known as Speed Rack is taking over Los Angeles for one night only. Speed Rack was created by Ivy Mix and Lynette Marrero of the New York Chapter for LUPEC (Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails), which works to collect drink recipes that were thought to be endangered or extinct.
