These past few weeks, I am 100% pro-Sarah Silverman! From her response to the roast of James Franco to her touching tribute to her dog, she's making it hard to decide if I want to be her or if I want to be making out with her. Now, SS is adding to her street cred with an appearance in Psychic Friend's new music video for "We Do Not Belong."
In the video, Silverman plays a girl in a mental hospital who, despite doctors' various treatments, remains unresponsive. It is after she catches a clip of people dancing that one doctor makes a connection that could get Silverman out of her shell. Read More

Sarah Silverman recently illuminated the internet about the 14-years she spent with her dog, Duck, through a beautifully-written, heartfelt obituary that sometimes even the best of people don’t receive. Silverman wrote about how they first met at a no-kill animal shelter in Van Nuys, CA, where Duck was placed after being found running through South Central Los Angeles without any form of identification. She detailed how happy, yet stoic, he was, and how much he just loved love and life. Read More

Well, it finally happened. Will.i.am did something that was actually...GOOD. All thanks to our favorite potty-mouthed comedienne, Sarah Silverman, of course. In honor of YouTube Comedy Week, Silverman and Will.i.am together create a more-than-perfect parody of "I Gotta Feeling." This club banger all about celebrating some "me" time (AKA ordering in, watching a movie, and masturbating). This song first of all, made me LOL. Hard. Second of all, is fucking catchy as hell. Third of all, you don't even need another reason. Read More

Turns out Sarah Silverman's not the only one in her family who likes to make waves-- her sister, Rabbi Susan Silverman, got arrested in Jerusalem for a protest on religious rights on Monday. In a demonstration for civil rights group Women of the Wall, Silverman and nine other women prayed in traditional men's clothes in the women's section of the Western Wall. As the last remaining section of King Solomon's Temple, the Western Wall is incredibly holy land governed by old, strict laws, one of which bans women from wearing "male" garments such as prayer shawls. Because it's Friday, and women ARE funny, and Twitter's cool and everybody's doing it!
You know that thing where you buy the boxed set of a TV show and then watch it all in a row? Retta basically does that thing professionally, and then tweets about it (when she's not busy killing it as Donna Meagle on Parks & Recreation). From The Mindy Project to Homeland and everything (literally everything) in between, Retta is very emotionally attached to these shows and she just wants to share her feelings with the world. Funny lady Sarah Silverman is no stranger to standing up for women’s reproductive rights. During the 2012 election cycle, she tackled voter ID laws with her usual snark. And back in October, Silverman made a cameo in a video for the Center for Reproductive Rights, which has been defending women’s abortion rights against an onslaught of restrictive state and federal laws.
Now, the controversial comedian is asking men to step up and fight for women’s reproductive rights with a new public service announcement. Read More

Sarah Silverman was on Conan O’Brien’s show last night, and of course she was vulgar, scandalous, and absolutely hilarious. Silverman started the segment by showing Conan an iPhone trick that kids everywhere will be doing now: she took a close-up of Conan’s mouth on her phone and positioned it between her legs like a vagina, totally embarrassing the host.
The best part was when Conan’s co-host, Andy Richter, got in on the fun, saying, "Now I really wish you still had the beard. Read More
