After a fiery petition and subsequent protests outside their flagship store in New York City, Reebok has finally dropped rapper Rick Ross from their campaign. The controversy with the rapper stemmed from a line of his lyrics that glamorized date rape.

Athletes, moms, and activists have become unanimously pissed off at rapper Rick Ross and his explicitly date-rapey lyrics.
The disturbing line in Ross' song, "UOENO" is as follows:"Put molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it/ Took her home and enjoyed that, she ain't even know it."Ross is currently the face of the Reeboks Classics series, a line of sneakers that takes pride in its roots and history.
