Google has taken a small step to help victims of revenge porn stop others from seeing their naked pictures on the Internet: On Friday, the company announced it will let victims of revenge porn ask for the removal of certain webpages from Google’s search results.
The Internet can be an amazing tool. With it, we have the ability communicate with people around the world, conduct groundbreaking research, or just look at pictures of sheep for an hour straight like I did this morning. Read More

I have to admit, it's a little difficult to write a review about someone I have admired and followed since I first got into stand-up comedy. I still remember the first time I saw comedian Sarah Silverman perform live back home at a show in Manchester, New Hampshire, and I knew all her jokes and delivery by heart so well I could say them along with her. I recently watched Silverman’s HBO special We are Miracles (released November 2013) before getting to listen to the album version, which just came out September 23 in the US on Sub Pop. Read More

The Netherlands is pretty high on the list of countries getting it right. Their TV channel "Dusk!" is also pretty high on their list of things they are getting right.
Dusk! (Aren't you glad they included the exclamation point?) is a "female-friendly erotic channel" where all of the programming is decided upon by a panel of 2,000 women. Any woman can join the panel, which reviews content and provide explanation about what they liked and didn't like. Read More

I know you didn’t think it was possible, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt just got more delightful. When addressing his new film Don Jon, in which he plays the title character and makes his feature debut as a writer and director, Gordon-Levitt was quick to quash the buzz about the movie being focused simply on pornography. Despite the film’s rom-com branding, its intent couldn’t be farther from the familiar gauzy plots of its counterparts. Read More

Remember Truth or Dare?
Covertly huddled together in the corners of dingy school hallways, sitting at the back ends of buses, crouched in the basements of our childhood homes – we played the eponymous game in our awkward, fumbling youth.
I recall one particular question during Truth that was frequently asked in rather hushed, thrilled tones: Have you ever masturbated?
The boys would smile knowingly, admitting to their pleasure bombastically, sometimes even high-fiving. The girls would cast their eyes away, shaking their heads violently. No. Read More

Just in time for your Mother's Day brunch.
Italian actress and wacky biology vixen Isabella Rossellini is back with the latest installment of Green Porno, her colourful project on the sex and love lives of wild animals.
This new set of vids will be available May 12th, and that release date is no accident. The installment is called “MAMMA,” and it deals exclusively with “creatures’ rites of passage into motherhood.”
Oh hey girl.
The first two installments, "Green Porno" and "Seduce Me," are Webby Award-winning treasures. Read More

Iceland, a famously web-savvy country, could become the first Western democracy to instate a national ban on internet porn. The nation’s interior minister is working on new legislation that would make it impossible for citizens to access porn on the Web, and Icelanders are understandably outraged.
Proponents of the legislation say that their aim is to protect the children of Iceland. They assert that what they take issue with is not necessarily sexual content, but violence. Read More

Is it just us, or has porn been getting a lot more awesome over the past few years? With increasingly subversive plots and down-to-earth stars, there's never been less shame in getting down and dirty. Hell, it might even become noble, thanks to the Berlin activists behind Fuck for Forest (via Grist). The group's modus operandi is right there in the name: Fuck for Forest uses the profits of their sexy home videos to buy portions of the increasingly endangered rainforest. Read More
