All of my wildest dreams just came true. Hillary Clinton and Pussy Riot have united and will now take the world by storm.
Okay, maybe they aren’t plotting world domination, but at least they have met and are now definitely friends. The controversial Russian pop duo Pussy Riot posed with Clinton backstage at Tina Brown’s Women in the World Summit last week, and it renewed my faith in humanity.

Pussy Riot member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova has been relocated to a penal colony in Siberia to finish out her 2-year sentence. Russian Ombudsman Vladimir Lukin confirmed her transfer to The Associated Press on Tuesday. Nadezhda is serving her sentence for “Hooliganism motivated by religious hatred” after the band staged an anti-government performance at Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Breaking news: Pussy Riot member Maria Alekhina was just denied parole, for the second time since the band's initial arrest. This comes after she declared a hunger strike yesterday in protest of unfair treatment by the Russian court system. Maria wasn't allowed to attend her own hearing in person - she was told to watch it via video link from her prison colony, which she said violated her rights.

One of two members of Russian punk collective Pussy Riot jailed in August for an anti-Putin performance has been moved to solitary confinement.
Prison officials stated that Maria Alekhina, 24, requested the move for her own safety; Russian site Lifenews specified that other inmates threatened Alekhina following a heated discussion about religion.
