As recently as 2012, Mary Lambert was working as a bartender in Seattle. But these days, the 25-year-old singer/songwriter is signed to Capitol Records, which released her EP Welcome to the Age of My Body in December and has slated her full-length debut (tentatively titled Burn Bright) for this summer. Since she first crooned that tear-jerking hook on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's now infamous gay-rights anthem "Same Love," singer Mary Lambert has gone from working three jobs to recording full-time.
Her latest milestone comes in the form of her first music video, for none other than the single "She Keeps Me Warm." After watching the clip, I couldn't help but notice that it left out a few key elements necessary for music videos of today: There were no montages of naked women standing around with animals. Holy crap! The new Macklemore & Ryan Lewis video for “Can’t Hold Us” is out, and it is ah-mazing. Camels! A pirate ship! Dog sleds! Skydiving! More (signature?) fur! A rocking chorus from Ray Dalton! This video jumps all around the globe, featuring shots of the beach, the desert, the snowy wilderness, and what looks like a damn fun party ending up back in Seattle. What an epic journey to go on with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, who, last time we hung out with them, took us on a kickass trip to the thrift shop. Read More

We're obsessed with this jam here at BUST HQ. Thrifting! Highly danceable beats! Footed onesies! Children! Fur rippling through the air in epic slow-mo! What's not to love?
