Cue celebratory dance and requisite trips to Barnes and Nobles around the country. Dunham and Girls showrunner Jenni Konner are working with HBO on a new comedy based on the forthcoming memoir of Betty Halbreich, a Bergdorf Goodman personal shopper and generally badass old lady. Halbreich’s memoir, All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go, will likely cover the 36 years she has spent working at Bergdorf’s (she’s 85, and has no intention of retiring any time soon). Read More
