With an emphatic nod to the ’80s, Omaha-based trio Icky Blossoms’ eponymous debut is a super danceable affair that’ll have you caking on the blue eye shadow and hiking up your acid-washed jeans. Omaha-based trio Icky Blossoms think of themselves as multi-dimensional artists, rather than simply a band. Their debut video for "Babes" was shot in black and white with neon text across the screen and is visually stunning, certainly looking like the product of art-minded individuals. The song itself, with its simple and catchy chorus, is the kind of hook that gets stuck in your head for hours. Days, maybe.
Singer Sarah Bohling is quite the babe herself, and bandmembers Nik Fackler and Derek Pressnall complete this exciting new group. Read More
