November is my favorite time of the year, from pumpkin-spice everything to the gluttony of Thanksgiving and, of course, my birthday! When it comes to the holiday season, I love buying presents for others (and for myself!), so I thought I'd put together a collection of some of my favorite items of the moment, many from adorable Etsy shops I recommend exploring. Hopefully they can give you ideas for Christmas shopping to come!
My first items are these fanciful, handmade pastel oxfords. All the pastels are completely covetable, but I'm really digging the pink ones. Read More

Fall! It’s the worst. My skin feels like newspaper, I can’t find my house keys in the early-evening darkness, and pumpkin-flavored things make me want to die. Really.
If you, too, would rather be schvitzing at the beach than shivering in layers of tweed, here are a couple treats to make it through this gnarly season.

Blustery early-October breezes are the stuff of romance for many fall-oholics, but they also turn my face into a peely, cracky, and painful mess. Read More

Tomorrow marks the official start of the fall season, and I, for one, am super excited, and not just because my birthday is two weeks away. I live for fall: smelling pumpkin spice lattes and hot chocolate wafting through the air, while wearing my favorite leather jacket, black jeans and boots. Oh, how I adore boots!
To celebrate the start of fall, the ladies here at BUST shared their favorite (and for some, their least favorite) things about the season.
I hate everything about fall. Fall = fail. Read More

Here in New York, the first signs of fall manifest in our wardrobes. Temperatures have dropped out of "sweat torture" territory, and cardigans are creeping out of our closets as things cool down. You are cordially invited to join us at the third annual BUST Magazine Craftacular at World Maker Faire New York 2012. Read More

The collection is pretty incredible in and of itself even if you aren’t a fan of the show, but if you do tune in every week, this is a sure-fire way to bring a smile to your face. Read More

Here are a few more pumpkin related things I can totally get behind! I wouldn’t eat these, but boy are they neat to look at. Refinery 29 took a creative, designer-inspired approach to good ole fashioned pumpkin carving. My pumpkins are looking decidedly uncool compared to these babies, but maybe that just means it’s time to get creative. One thing’s for sure, this proves there’s more than one way to embrace fall style! Inspiration for the above pumpkin should be obvious (Louis Vuitton!). Read More
