Director, writer, and graphic designer Mike Mills (whose first film was 2005’s Thumbsucker) has a new movie out June 3rd called Beginners—a beautiful film about love, death, and new beginnings. Based on Mike’s personal experiences, the story revolves around 38-year-old Oliver (played by Ewan McGregor) whose father Hal (Christopher Plummer) comes out as a homosexual at the age of 75 after his wife of 45 years passes away. Last Friday, Ewan McGregor appeared on the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson to promote his newest film, "Men Who Stare at Goats". During the interview, Craig Ferguson mentioned how McGregor has done a lot of nude scenes in his films, to which McGregor responded:
"I don't find it embarrassing. I like to do it. Women are always expected to be naked in films, but I like to try and do it so they are not naked. It's a feminist thing that I do."
