Once again, Elizabeth Warren has denied her plans to run for the presidency (and once again, we’re bummed about it). In a recent interview with Fortune, the senator bluntly said 'no' when she was asked if her name would appear on the ticket in 2016. In case you hadn’t heard, the government is taking a little break (which does not mean you can smoke weed at school, kids). Also, in case you hadn’t heard, Senator Elizabeth Warren is a badass. Monday night, she took to the Senate floor to call out Republicans for irresponsibly taking the U.S. economy hostage in order to get what they want. Tuesday, in addition to preserving sanity in the White House for four more years, brought major victory for women in politics. The Senate is now 1/5 female. While this is still far from equal, it’s a new record high and a definite step in the right direction.  There’s a lot to celebrate here (like Claire McCaskill defeating walking rape gaffe Todd Akin, for example), but I’d like to take a moment to focus on the wonders of a personal favorite of mine: Massachusetts’ new Senator and Supreme Badass, Elizabeth Warren.
