Thanks to a shipment of incredibly delicious Le'Saric gourmet caramels, we're starting Halloween a little early over in the BUST office. I was wandering around the Serious Eats website, a food blog about chow in the NYC area, and spotted this odd baked good.
In Barbara Kingsolver's book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, you can find a recipe for Frida Kahlo's Pan de Muerta, which is a traditional Day of the Dead treat made to honor those that have passed on.
