I don’t remember the exact moment that I officially identified myself as a feminist. She had been playing with the LA-based punk rock group since their formation in 1991 and up until they decided to take a break after their fifth record in 2004. It has been confirmed: menstrual blood is just as magical as you thought. Thanks to this VICE article, you have one more use for your evicted uterine lining (other than cool art) - plant fertilizer! I love New York. I’ve lived here my whole life, and wouldn’t trade a minute of it for anything. That being said, there’s a lot about growing up in a big city, especially for a young woman, that’s not so great. I’m thinking particularly of street harassment—it’s something that I, along with countless others around the world, have had to deal with almost every day from a very young age.
