This weekend at the BUST Craftacular, you can ward off the blue Mondays with Mondays handmade ceramics! Brooklyn artists Jennifer Flore, Nina Lalli, and Signe Yberg create beautiful handmade ceramics for use and display. Each piece is a work of art, and no two are the same. Mondays creates bowls, cups, dishes, platters, planters, vases, and more. I’m loving their Green Bubble Plates, Triangle Vases, Confetti Cups, and Small Shell Bowl (all pictured here). Come see Mondays at the BUST Magazine Craftacular at World Maker Faire on Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Read More

Discovery Channel's annual Shark Week has me feeling very ocean-oriented, and though I'm not very crafty, I have countless creative, Pinterest-crazy pals who I think would be into these shark-inspired DIY projects. Go on ahead and dive into these shark-infested waters--you won't regret it. First, we have to make sure our nails look fly. Or in this case, bloody as hell. Check out the mani below for easy inspiration. All you'll need are blue and red nail polish for the simple version--use the blue as your watery base and let dry. Then go nuts, splattering those nails with bloody red. Read More
