The God’s Themselves have answered all our prayers with a cover of Ginuwine's “Pony," and it is... there are no words. If this perfect combination of rock-and-roll, sexy beats, and swagger is the Seattle trio’s debut album, we can’t imagine what beautiful monstrosity they will come out with next.
We are just going to leave this right here.

Full disclosure: We're pretty major Madonna fans around these parts, and often find Rihanna to be a bit disappointing (that has not, however, stopped us from jamming out to her music from time to time). So when we came across this RiRi cover of "Vogue," we were prepared to have mixed feelings about it.
No surprises here: We're on the fence—but what do you think?

Indie darling duo She & Him is back to cover the Dusty Springfield 1964 classic "Stay Awhile" in the premiere of their new video out on Vevo today. The music video, directed by CANADA, begins with M. Ward picking up his invisible guitar and plugging it into his matching invisible amp. Zoey Deschanel appears in a dreamy blue dress, singing to her ghostly lover as he pulls her off her feet to dance. They spin and twirl around the house, which seems ... Read More

Some of my personal favorites: the theme for Magic School Bus (a classic), Pepper Ann (my lips are moving along to the lyrics as I link this), and the more recent The Weekenders (DRINK ... Read More

In honor of the reunion of Fleetwood Mac announced this week (we’re talking new album AND tour!!!!), you should not miss this gorgeous cover of “Dreams,” performed by former Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester and musician Dana Williams. The song was written by Stevie Nicks for the album Rumours (1977), and it was Fleetwood Mac's only #1 hit in the US to sell over one million copies. Yea, Stevie's good like that.

Alexa Wilding, one of BUST's favorite singer/songwriters, has recorded a new cover of "Wicked Game" with her friends Erika Spring and Heather D'Angelo of Au Revoir Simone. Called the "neo Stevie Nicks" by the New York Times, Wilding infuses Chris Isaak's tune with dreamy vocals, and Spring's twanging dulcimer lends the track a subtle haunted quality.
Check out the cover on Soundcloud, and while you're there, take a listen to Alexa Wilding's ... Read More
