Permanent Wave, we love you. The Brooklyn-based network of feminist artists and activists is on-point again, this time throwing a benefit show for the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls. The show, which features bands PS XO, Mitten, Magnetic Island, and Desert Sharks, starts at 8:30 tonight.

Perhaps there are some of you out there who, like me, still don't quite know what "zine" means. No worries, here's a quick explanation: "zine" (pronounced zeehn) is short for magazine, but that doesn't fully capture the spirit of a zine.
