Who knew Ru still had it? RuPaul, that is. While the MAC spokesperson/dragqueen extraordinaire has been low key, RuPaul has without a doubt, emerged by reviving reality competition shows by adding her flair and fabulousness to pop culture once again, by introducing 'RuPaul's Drag Race,' on the Logo network. RuPaul's Drag Race strangely (yet not surprisingly) rings a bit of familiarity with similarities to 'America's Next Top Model, down to Tyra Banks' weave. Read More

Last night this commercial came on and it sort of left me with my jaw hanging open.
It should be a funny, obvious joke ad, like the ones for guys (Axe) where they are clearly making a pun, but it was done in a subtle lady like way, with vaguley sexy, wine bar electronic background music. Bleh, it takes the fun out of the pubes=trimming the hedges joke, guys! While I am all for making fun of girls that are all serious about trimming their pubes into landing strips, (cmon ladies, really) I don't think this ad succeeded in making the joke work. Read More
