I hope Jenny Slate catches this post, because I have found all of Marcel the Shell's friends and family. Thanks to artist, graphic designer, and owner for Green Ink Studio, Inka Mathew's teeny tiny personal project, "Tiny PMS Match," she has bestowed us with yet another terribly adorable procrastinating tool. Mathew's project matches miniscule, everyday objects to their Pantone® color equivalences, photographs them with her iPhone, and it is so god damn CUTE.

For her "Bangerz" world tour, Miley Cyrus has teamed up with multi-media artist and fashion filmmaker, Quentin Jones, to create a risque two-minute video titled, Tongue-Tied. From Francesca Woodman to Judy Chicago, women artists have long grappled with the idea of the home: are our houses our personal sanctuaries or our monotonous prisons? The photographer Patty Carroll expresses the ambivalent relationship between femininity and the home in her ongoing project “Anonymous Woman,” in which she shoots women, meant to represent everywoman, engulfed in drapes.
