In the midst of a national debate about birth control coverage and employee health care plans, women’s group UltraViolet has turned to one sure-fire solution to rock the vote: puppets.

The Supreme Court will hear final arguments for the controversial case of Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores next week – after which they'll decide whether or not the corporation may maintain their practice of restricting employee health coverage to "morally fit" procedures. Hobby Lobby Stores are already notorious for their intensely religious beliefs, but the craft store's uppity fever has spiked throughout their challenge to the Women’s Health Amendment and Affordable Care Act.

The lynchpin of the case concerns birth control, and specifically whether or not companies that morally oppose the use of contraception may limit the coverage of their employee’s medical care to...basically...reflect their own beliefs.

Ladies, can we all agree – here in bonny 2014 – that corporate health plans deliberately failing to cover birth control are horrible/wrong/unfair? In any case, UltraViolet is not taking this case sitting down. The radical group describes themselves as “a new and rapidly growing community of women and men across the U.S. mobilized to fight sexism and expand women’s rights, from politics and government to media and pop culture."

So check out UltraViolet's new ad campaign (starring a few sassy puppets and Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead) about the dangers of conservative intrusion in the bedroom. The first of the five-part series targets young women in swing states. You can find it below.

Hopefully these ads lead to heightened awareness about this important court case and encourage women throughout the country to stand up for their tiny daily pills!
