The Five Funniest Women on Twitter

Because  it's Friday, and women ARE funny, and Twitter's cool and everybody's doing it!

You know that thing where you buy the boxed set of a TV show and then watch it all in a row? Retta basically does that thing professionally, and then tweets about it (when she's not busy killing it as Donna Meagle on Parks & Recreation). From The Mindy Project to Homeland and everything (literally everything) in between, Retta is very emotionally attached to these shows and she just wants to share her feelings with the world. Let it out, girl!

Best known as a former SNL cast member and current creator and voice of Marcel the Shell, Jenny Slate also has her own weird thoughts. Sometimes she condenses them into 140 characters and lets us read them.

Everyone knows Sarah Silverman is hilarious. So...yeah.

Michelle Collins is a comedian/blogger when she's not busy being your new best friend. She watches everything you TiVo, she knows all the best celebrity gossip, she's hilarious and she fucking loves Les Misérables

Morgan Murphy is one of those stand-up comics whose sense of humor seems perfectly suited to the Twitter format. She honed her lady humor as a writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and now writes for 2 Broke Girls.
